Guardians of Style for Sunday Magazine (behind the scenes)

You can read Karla Smith's full story here.

Lindsay Kennett, Milliner, Dunedin.
Lindsay is 86 and still making the most stunning bestoke hats from his house in Mornington.
Every photo was taken whilst wearing one of his pieces.

 Barbara Brinsley, Collector, Dunedin.
Barbara was a regular at my old haunt, Modern Miss and it was so lovely being able to visit her home. We bonded over Veuve Clicquot, nursing stories and wardrobe rifling.

Katrina Hodge, Costume Designer, Auckland.
Katrina was such a beauty to photograph. Look at that face! And that Karen Walker dress!
Karlya and I had such fun zipping between the racks of The Wardrobe Department.

 Doris De Pont, Curator, Auckland.
Doris' Grey Lynn home is just beautiful, so light and full of colourful Pasifika collectables.
She is doing the most amazing work for the New Zealand Fashion Museum.
