The amazing crew at the Pantograph Punch we very keen to send us down there, but they wanted us to make a film too.
We flew to Christchurch, drove across the Arthur's Pass, stayed in Punakaiki and met and interviewed the most wonderful local people over a week.
In this time, we also drove the length of the Coast. Driving South - past the Luminaries shore of Hokitika, Frans Josef Glacier and through the treacherous Haast Pass to my Gran's home in Makarora.
You can read Claire's amazing piece Hanging on to the Edge of the World on The Pantograph Punch with my accompanying images. Our 7 minute documentary is also there too.
