A Dictaphone Blues picture for you

I have taken quite a few pictures for Dictaphone Blues since moving to Auckland and they are a bundle of fun to shoot. However, they are starting to get a little demanding...when Eddie, Myles and Rob insisted that I stand on my head while taking the picture and I obliged, despite the obvious danger. A job's a job right?

They are especially forgivable since the new single 'Cliche' from their upcoming album is so awesome. You can actually download it for free from their bandcamp page.

Tono VS. Palmerston North

Palmerston North: We came, we saw, we conquered.

We have had a team working very hard on the new Tono and the Finance Company for months now and it is amazing how much work can going into one photograph. In the end it involves a casual flight on a plane, beautiful Cait and Tono in a suit...the final result is to be revealed in good time.

Camp A Low Hum 2012: Beastwars

Beastwars was an amazingly loud squishy squish fest. I felt very safe on the side on the stage.

Camp A Low Hum 2012

The reunion that my friends and I have every year at Camp A Low Hum is an amazing tradition and we all come from near and far to be together. We run around like lunatics for a weekend and it feels like we were never apart and we still live in Dunedin together. (However, proof that we are all getting a bit older and more grown up is that Luci and DJ got engaged at camp(!!!!))

I saw some amazeballs music - the best for me were: Beastwars (photos to come), Kirin J. Callinan and Prince Rama - they are all extremely different from each other but freaking rad.

Also, Camp has just been confirmed for 2013 - wahey!

February!

I've had a busy and exciting photography year already - of which I intend to blog soon. In the meantime, here are some cute animals on my sister's nappied bottom...

Waaaa!

And here we are with Ah-Rhee and Ellie on my most recent Dunedin visit.
