On Boxing Day I drove up to Alexandra with Ellie in preparation for Ah-Rhee and Rion's wedding. Ellie and I fed up Ah-Rhee on wine as we celebrated her last night as a Pyun and we were woken up early the next morning by Ah-Rhee jumping on the bed in gorgeous excitement. I spent the morning photographing the preparation and then was met by Stu just in time to become a normal guest at ceremony. Despite the rain, it was a lovely, lovely day.

The other weekend, I was in my room and heard a noise outside of my window. I ran right over to it, but ran straight into the sticky bit that hold our window open...as below:
It went straight through the lens of my glasses and hit me in the corner of the inner eye. It was really quite a spectacularly uncoordinated and dangerous moment that turned out quite fine.

My dear friend Caitlyn wanted to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of her first menstruation (this was in all seriousness - I just can't believe she remembered!)
We had the most delicious dinner full of red hued treats, complete with vajazzled vagina cookies. What a lovely evening it was.

This is Jake and Ella. Then have only moved to New Zealand recently from Korea and I meet with Jake every week to practice English and generally shoot the breeze. This weekend, after a delicious home cooked meal of bibimbap, we walked up Mount Eden. Jake and Ella walk up it every day and since it was my first time up the hill, they had to be my tour guides - telling me the giant crater and the stunning views.

For the first time in a long time, I went back to Dunedin for the wedding of my dear friends Sam and Luke. In the beginning, it was very hard to put down my camera but I had to force myself to just be a bridesmaid and let everyone else do the business!
Dunedin pulled out a ridiculously sunny day and we were all pretty relaxed as the entire bridal party got ready together, had photo shoots and then trooped off to Outram for the ceremony and reception. It was just a beautiful day with some of my oldest and bestest friends.
