ceramicy goodness again

I have just finished a ceramics night class. It was pretty good, though I found it hard to only be able to work for three hours a week! My class was full of mothers who talked about what school zone they live in..soooo...not too motivating (as lovely as they were.)
I made these pots using my Korean students classroom graffiti. Their work deserve to be glazed, it's so awesome.

Would you say that to my face?

Is the name of a work that my buddy Dave Good and I are working on.
We've done some filming - we threw some very lovely actors in the deep end, leaving them to do a bit of improvisation based on a series of creepy text messages that I was sent (that's a whole other blog post altogether.)

wine

I'm obsessed with these wine glasses. I'm also less likely to knock them over!

from under the sheets...

I am currently making the most of the last of my FOUR DAYS OFF from work. It is 11.33am and I am still snuggled in bed. Yuss. Also, my flatmate is watching the All Whites vs. Italy game and it is taking all of my might to not run out and say "DRAW!" Heh!

I just had a lovely weekend with the Rachel Fairhurst, who departed chilly Dunedin to visit the slightly less chilly Auckland. We shopped, coffee-ed, Fleet FM gigged, French market-ed, wined and talked so much my voice is sore.
Unfortunately, I have no photographic evidence (does this mean the past weekend even happened?) because my camera is at work, ready to capture anything remotely cute that Lucinda does. (This is slightly sad, but necessary.)

Lucinda

Before my time at Time Out, there was a famous cat who lived there for twelve years called Oscar. Sadly, he passed away (but is kept in a wee box on the mantelpiece upstairs.)
My boss decided it was time for a new kitten and she has been called Lucinda (a nice homage to the former Time Out feline from the book "Oscar and Lucinda.") She is the most distracting, yet best looking co-worker one can have.
