Feijoa Creme Brulee

I thought my feijoa cooking days were over for now until Tono came over with yet another bag. So creme brulee it was!
Unfortunately I don't have a blow torch, so I fired up the grill as high as possible and sat the ramekins directly under it so the sugar caramelised nicely.
I thought creme brulee was something that could only be eaten in restaurants, but it was ridiculously easy and soooo delicious with stewed feijoas in the bottom.
Now I can have my very own Amelie moment anytime I want. (Well, when plenty of egg yolks are handy.)
